Well, I had everything that I needed, except those cute little buttons.
I looked everywhere. And I could find one here. And one there. But I couldn't find a uniformed look.
Was I going to have to create my own?
Luckily, NO!
I found this site, here. All you have to do is choose which look you like, copy and paste the codes and then edit the BOLD spots with your social media sites info.
I chose this one.
Once you copy the code, you can delete the codes that you don't have. For instance, I don't have an etsy or a YouTube, so when you see mine, I don't have it them.
Here's what to do...
- Choose the style of icons you like from their list below.
- Copy the code
- Paste the code into a word document
- Replace the highlighted Twitter, Facebook, RSS Feed, Pinterest and Email details with your own Twitter name, Facebook Page ID and Blog URL, Pinterest account and email address.
- Save your work
- Copy and paste the complete code into a new html gadget in your sidebar.
- Save. View. Check how it looks.
- Make adjustments in sizes by altering the "Height" and "Width" numbers in the code, smaller or larger depending on what you want.
- Check that the buttons work by clicking on them!
- If they don't work go back to your word document and figure out where you went wrong!
